Equipped with scorching dissent, Ted McGrath's The Flag returns to the fold with BangBangBang, a 6 song EP amassing four rejigged works from The Flag's 2015 debut LP, "Heat Waves", as well as new violence in the form of "Just Like a Fantastic Black Police Car."

"Bang." finds former Antipop Consortium conspirer Beans (Warp, Anticon) disfiguring the anxiety-ridden art-punk of the original cut into an addled blitz of beats only to be sifted out again into a serene slow burn by Future Islands- and Double Dagger- offshoot Peals.

James Conduit (Geographic North, Phinery) reworks "To Wear The Vest of Wealth" into a celestial requiem for lost, unnamed loved ones while Hoss Records honcho R. Mexico recomposes "Shoot the Messenger" into a grotesque waltz of schizophrenic glee.

This EP kills fascists.
